Small straight sided coffee can painted with iron red flower sprigs. On the base of this can, signed by the decorator Joseph Cottrill is the inscription ‘Painted on the top stone of St Andrews Spire, Worcester, July 18th 1801’ he was only 17 or 18 years old at the time and probably climbed the tall spire for a dare.
