Shape 2896. A model of a young calf lying on a square base, its head turned back to lick its rear legs. Typical of Miss Croft’s very stylized animal models, the calf is not successful in porcelain and producetion was very limited, despite the figure costing only 6s. 6d in 1931. Height 8in.
