WH Kerr, an Irishman from Dublin joined RW Binns to form the Kerr and Binns partnership in 1852, taking over the Chamberlain and Company. They made a great artistic revival with the Shakespeare service at the Dublin Art Exhibition of 1853. In 1962 Kerr retired and Mr Binns formed the joint stock company.
