Tony began his career at Royal Worcester and has been an artist all his working life. After leaving school he became an apprentice at the world famous Worcester Studios and in 1971 was named ‘best animal and bird artist’ by the renowned ceramics expert Henry Sandon.
He has worked for several ceramics companies in the region where he has continued to develop his skill and versatility, specialising in wildlife art and landscapes whilst also painting a huge range of other subject matter from architecture to floral compositions.
Tony has painted many special commissions for distinguished clients including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and The Sultan of Oman. Today, Tony continues to create exceptional works of art and demonstrates his skills in the galleries at the Museum of Royal Worcester, usually on Thursdays and Saturdays.
