Behind the Scenes talk by Worcester Porcelain Enthusiast Jane Tudge
The ‘Behind the Scenes Talk’ includes an opportunity to handle some of the items in our china and archive stores and to hear sound bites from the exceptional audio history recordings where past workers use their own words to describe their jobs on the factory floor and an entertaining insight to the history of Royal Worcester.
We are also pleased to provide three different refreshment packages each of which is served on our very best Royal Worcester china, for more details click here. If you would like something a little different I should be pleased to talk to our caterers and obtain prices and fresh menus. We can for example provide tea and coffee on arrival, afternoon tea, soup and sandwiches or hot lunches!
In addition, the Museum Shop offers an ever changing range of present day, vintage and antique Royal Worcester ‘made in England’, at very reasonable prices.
Our favourite quote from Henry Sandon, who frequently features on the BBC Antiques Road Show, is that visiting the museum is his “Ideal Day Out!” and we very much hope that we can offer your party a day that equals his enjoyment!
This talk includes standard entry to the Museum and free coach parking. All talks must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
|For groups of 20+ only|
If less than 20 people attend the booked Behind the Scenes talk on the day, a minimum charge of £180 will apply.
