Dorothy Doughty born 1892 and died 1962. Dorothy Doughty born San Remo Italy, daughter of General Doughty who wrote Arabia Deserta and a friend of Laurence of Arabia who used to visit their home in Kent. A superb modeller of birds and modelled the American and English birds for Royal Worcester from 1935. Her sister Freda was the modeller of the children studies for Royal Worcester
