Mr and Mrs Perrins with the factory Red Cross detachment. In the second world war Royal Worcester was largely involved in producing porcelain for the war effort and was a secured and guarded factory. At one time they were on 24 hour working a day in shift producing resisters, transformers and laboratory porcelain, as well as producing  fine quality wares for sale to America to pay for lease lend.
