Description

This pair of heart shaped dessert dishes are from an enormous service made for the headquarters of the Honourable East India Company at Fort St George Madras. The services ordered in 1817 were the largest ever produced at Worcester and included over 7,000 items at a total cost of £4,190, 4 shillings.
