Join former Royal Worcester artists and try your hand at some traditional ceramic skills. Memories of factory life, all materials and a hot drink or juice and biscuits, are included in the session price.

Create with a Cuppa‘ workshops take place in our Ceramic Studio on the first Wednesday and third Thursday of the month, and our Family Creative Workshops on the second Saturday of the month.

Saturday 11th June, 10.30am-12.30pm, Creative Family Workshop. Learn the art of flower-making from former factory artist Avril Pulley. You’ll model different flower shapes and colour them to decorate a picture frame or greetings card with your blooms.

Thursday 23rd June, 7pm-9pm, ‘Create with a CuppaPorcelain painting Workshop. Discover painting on porcelain with former Royal Worcester Porcelain painter Frank Clarke. You’ll try out tips and techniques suitable for all levels of artistic talent, and hear about factory stories.

Saturday 9 July, 10.30am-12.30pm: Porcelain painting Creative Family Workshop. Discover painting on porcelain with former Royal Worcester painter Frank Clarke. You’ll try out techniques and tips suitable for all ages and levels of experience with glowing ceramic colours.

Thanks to funding from the Arts Society, these former Royal Worcester workers are able to share their skills and techniques in regular informal social and creative sessions. Your workshop ticket includes Museum entrance on the day. Children under 17 must be supervised by a parent or carer during the session. One accompanying adult not undertaking the workshop is permitted with each booking, non-paying adults will be able to purchase refreshments in the studio.
