Gentleman’s magazine article

The first advert of the Porcelain Manufactory at Worcester in the 1752 July edition of the Gentleman’s Magazine, the editor of which was Edward Cave, one of the partners of the newly formed manufactory. A description of the buildings is accompanied by the note: ‘A sale of this manufacture will begin at the Worcester Music Meeting on September 20 with great variety of ware, and ’tis said at moderate price’.
