Join artist Fliss O’Neill for a hands-on family workshop discovering fun and simple drawing and watercolour techniques inspired by the shapes and decorations of Worcester porcelain and Meadow Arts exhibition The Precious Clay.
You will begin by learning how to draw forms using techniques originated by Betty Edwards and her book, “Drawing on the right side of the brain.” Fliss will give you simple instructions on how to use watercolours and brusho inks to add colour and decoration to drawings. You can build up layers, mix colours and make random patterns on your artwork using salt, as well as using lace, feathers and other objects to make soft prints.
