Our own Development Manager Fiona Blake is training hard to take on the challenge of running 13.1 miles in the Great North Run on Sunday 11 September, raising money for the Museum’s recovery and resilience.
Fiona says ‘I’m so excited to be taking part in this iconic event for the first time. I’ve been training by running four times each week since May. It means doing three runs before starting work in the morning and a long run each Sunday morning. I’m up to 10 miles so far and on track to reach 11 miles this weekend, fingers crossed!
