José Santos, a Mexican print maker and fine artist has during the past eighteen months lovingly cleaned and restored a number of copper plates dating between 1874 and 1890. These plates were originally used by Royal Worcester for the transfer of print to porcelain and now reside in the museum collections. As well as using traditional printing methods, José has also experimented with contemporary papers and enhancing the prints by hand with exceptional and interesting results. Due to the age of the copper plates and their previous use on the factory, each print is limited to very small runs.
