Ceramic Painting Workshops | Museum of Royal Worcester

See a skilled ceramic painting demonstration by former Royal Worcester artist James Skerrett as part of Worcester’s FREE Heritage Weekend activities.  The demonstration will take place in the Museum reception and shop so is free for all to enjoy.  If you wish to visit the Museum normal entry charges apply.

James Skerrett learned the art of painting on porcelain with Royal Worcester and will demonstrate a wide range of techniques used by ceramic painters as well as sharing memories of his time at the factory.

There are many free #HeritageWeekend activities taking place over Worcester’s museums and cultural venues during the weekend of 9 and 10 of September.

Don’t miss our Teapot Sculpture Launch Event on Saturday 16 September – a FREE special event in the courtyard and Henry Sandon Hall to mark the arrival of a new large teapot artwork celebrating the porcelain heritage of the area surrounding the Museum.  There will be hands-on creative activities, tea-tasting and a talk by oral historian Julia Letts.
