Discovering POTTERY Workshops
APRIL DATES – 2 places available. MORE DATES COMING IN SEPTEMBER.
Find your inner potter in our Spring 10-week course of Discovering Pottery workshops.
Learn clay techniques with potter and artist Kay Mullett in the inspiring surroundings of the Museum’s ceramic studio. You’ll get hands-on experience and instruction in a range of traditional and experimental pottery techniques including throwing, slab building, coiling, slip casting, modelling and decoration.
This course is suitable for all abilities and as a refresher.
If you’ve ever fancied a go at the wheel, clay modelling or decoration then this is the course for you.
This course will run over 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings, 7pm – 9pm from 24 April to 3 July.
Please note: there will be no class on Wednesday 29 May.
All your materials are included, plus tea and coffee on Royal Worcester china during the session – so all you have to do is turn up. Please wear covered shoes and old clothes/an apron that you don’t mind getting clay on.
You can book the whole 10 week course for £225 or book the first session as a taster for £24.50 – we will credit this against the whole course cost if you decide to carry on.
