The course will include an introduction to ceramics and key hand-building techniques, throwing on the potter’s wheel, simple decoration and approaches to glazing. Designed for beginner and intermediate levels. No previous experience necessary.
This is a creative opportunity to develop skills from scratch, as well as extending and broadening approaches and techniques, building on those covered in any previous clay courses you may have attended. Sessions are ideal for both new and returning students. The course offers scope for those who wish to follow the taught course and also for those wishing to do their own work alongside this programme.
