We are delighted to announce the award of a Covid19 response grant from Worcestershire Community Foundation, a charitable hub for the county of Worcestershire, dedicated to supporting and providing a voice for the voluntary and community sector. We are proud to be one of 150 local organisations that have been supported through these grants, totalling over £600,000 so far.
The pandemic created a huge crisis for the Voluntary & Community sector across Worcestershire, with huge demand for increased services to support isolated and vulnerable people. With support from Worcestershire Community Foundation, we are able to continue developing our digital engagement resources and outreach to young people, families and older people within our local communities. Resources are designed to support wellbeing with positive, creative and lifelong learning opportunities, meeting the need for activities that support mental health and address isolation and loneliness. The grant also helps strengthen the Museum’s resilience and recovery from the ongoing impact of Covid19.
