Group Talks - Colin Millet - Museum of Royal Worcester - Ladies of the Porcelain

ladies of the porcelain – talk by historian colin millett

A collector of Worcester Porcelain for over 40 years, Colin Millett, is well placed to share his unique and insightful knowledge of ‘the Porcelain’.  During this talk you’ll hear about the remarkable stories of women’s contribution to Worcester porcelain.

This entertaining hour is based on extensive research and first-hand accounts about the women who worked hard, were talented, funny and clever and who helped the international success of Royal Worcester.

Colin explains:

“In a male environment the ladies knew they needed not only to be as good as their male counterparts but have ambitions to be better!”

An entertaining hour with plenty of chances for questions.
