The Museum of Royal Worcester is one of the most distinctive venues for team building activities and corporate away days in Worcester and across Worcestershire.
Teams are welcomed into the ceramic studio to take part in hands-on paint your own pottery while enjoying refreshments served on Royal Worcester porcelain.
After the session, your pieces are professionally glazed and fired in the kiln using traditional ceramic processes. Once complete, they are carefully packaged in gift bags and ready for collection around three weeks later, creating a lasting reminder of the shared experience.

A relaxed and creative experience designed to help teams switch off from work and reconnect through creativity
Duration: 2 hours Price: £29.50 per person

- Guided Paint Your Own Pottery Experience
- Tea and coffee served on Royal Worcester porcelain
- Each participant decorates their own ceramic piece
2. Creative Team Package
This extended session introduces a collaborative element alongside the individual pottery experience.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Price: £45.00 per person
Group Size: Minimum 10; Maximum 50

- PLUS collaborative team ceramic piece, such as a teapot or VIP plate
3. CREATIVE WELLBEING Package
A half-day experience combining creative activity with dedicated space for team meetings, planning sessions or company updates.

A Unique Setting for Corporate Away Days
A Unique Setting for Corporate Away Days
As well as creative team experiences, the Museum offers inspiring spaces that can be incorporated into corporate away days, including our exhibition hall, galleries and meeting facilities.
Bespoke guided tours, demonstrations and talks by former factory workers or Museum experts can also be arranged, offering fascinating insight into the history and craftsmanship behind Royal Worcester porcelain.

The University of Worcester Business School recently held their team Away Day at the Museum of Royal Worcester.
“Choosing the Museum of Royal Worcester as the venue for our Away Day seemed a logical choice following a recommendation from the Chamber of Commerce.
The museum team welcomed us with drinks served, of course, in Royal Worcester before comfortably accommodating all 50 of our Business School team in their training and development room.
In the afternoon we rolled up our sleeves and enjoyed getting creative with a Paint Your Own Pottery session as part of a team building and wellbeing activity.
