You can get hands-on with clay modelling creating different fruit or yummy berry shapes. Artist Jamila Walker will be with us leading fun quick drawing activities where you can have a go at sketching fruit. Former Royal Worcester artist Sally Wood will be demonstrating the famous Worcester Painted Fruit painting technique. And you can add to our Big Tea Party wall display with your unique collaged colourful cake treat using different papers, gems and gold and silver pens.

We’ll have a delicious range of fruity teas to try at our tea-tasting table from Blue Apple and Lime to Golden Pear.

Worcestershire’s youngest ever Poet Laureate Rhianna Levi is with us for wordgames and play – what fruit story will you tell with the words she brings?

We’re really excited that Engage with China is joining us to uncover symbolism in some of the chinese art motifs on the first Worcester porcelain – learn about the names and meanings of different fruits in china, you can try your hand at calligraphy and learn some chinese characters … and try the chopsticks dexterity challenge – how many raisins can you pick up?!

Paint-Your-Own-Pottery will be available in our Ceramic Studio (additional charges apply) – you can decorate a unique fruit bowl or platter for your table using our ceramic colours or choose from our wide range of unglazed pottery shapes to paint – from cupcake trinket boxes to football money banks.  We glaze and fire it for you to collect or we can post it to you.

You can find out more about how fruit inspired Royal Worcester’s famous Evesham range read about Evesham here.
