Daisy Rea at the top of the room with some of her girls. Daisy was a Martinet – if a girl wanted to go to the toilet she would have to hold her hand up to get permission and if she was there too long Daisy would go and hammer on the door. She would not allow the usual Christmas party. The girls are decorating figurines, note monk candle extinguishers.
