Painting of Mrs Freda Perrins. Mrs Perrins was Dyson Perrins’ second wife and outlived him, living in Davenham until her death. She made gifts to the Museum, such as the Canaries, when a pair were being sold at Sotheby’s Cyril Shingler and I went to Davenham to see if she would help with the purchase. “I have one of them”, she said, and gave it to us.
