A view of Severn Street, probably taken from an upper floor of one of the factory buildings, looking across towards the Cathedral and Edgar Tower.  The row of ten houses across the road were built in 1886 and the plans (from 1879) for them are in the city Historic Environment Record, they included three shops, two of which are still visible (the closest is has an advert for Lyons cakes above the window).
