Richard Sebright, 1868-1951 was the finest fruit painter of his generation, possibly the finest of all time at Royal Worcester. Also a fine flower painter, especially in watercolours , he exhibited several at the Royal Academy. A painstaking painter who earned little – after world war two earning only 45 shillings a week. He never married and was deeply religious.
