Museum of Royal Worcester - Creative Jubilee activities

Join us for Jubilee Celebrations at the Museum.

This summer, we’re celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the Museum with an exciting programme of creative activities.

With funding from the Arts Council Let’s Create Jubilee Fund, who are investing £5million into a new programme administered by UK Community Foundations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy; from exhibitions and local art to parties and pottery painting.

The fund’s focus is for the Jubilee is to empower community organisations to work collaboratively with artists and cultural organisations in a way they might not have before, to produce creative events that are driven by them and highlight their ideas and creativity. Here at the Museum we are excited to do just that.

From Saturday 28th May to Sunday 4th September, enjoy a special royal-themed exhibition celebrating 70 Royal years in Worcester Porcelain with Elizabeth II. From opening our Museum as Princess Elizabeth in 1951 to her visit on the 250th anniversary of Worcester Porcelain.

Including Stanley Road Primary School display of plate designs fit for the Queen. Get hands-on with our big celebratory artwork or Paint-Your-Own Pottery with a royal-themed mug or souvenir.

Finally, Wednesday 1st June is Jubilee Party Day at the Museum. We will be celebrating the Platinum Jubilee in style, and you’re invited.

We can’t wait for you to join us for our Jubilee celebrations at the Museum. Tickets are only £3 per person (adult or child) on that special day. You can book here.
