Coming in September 2022, the Showstopper Trail will reveal behind-the-scenes archive material rarely seen and bring 22 fascinating and extraordinary objects in the collection to life. For the first time businesses, organisations and individuals will be able to join us in supporting the work we do to share and preserve Worcester’s porcelain heritage by Sponsoring an Object at the Museum, enabling us to do more.

We will present a new physical trail around the Museum. The objects and their stories will also be brought to life on film and social media by trustees John Sandon and Philip Serrell and our Museum Director, Sophie Heath.

John Sandon is a British expert and prolific author on ceramics and glass, and is best known as an expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. Philip Serrell  is an English auctioneer, antiques expert and television presenter. He has become a familiar face, especially on various BBC TV antiques programmes.

We want to wow our audiences with truly beautiful pieces with extraordinary stories, but to do that we need your help. Find out more about the Showstopper trail and how you can get involved by sponsoring an object, and helping us to care for and connect people with this unique heritage, today and for future generations to enjoy and understand.
